I took the train to the Saphan Thaksin metro station and took the ferry that runs alongside the Chao Phraya river to go to the Grand Palace area.
I checked out the Ministry of Defence near the Grand Palace area.
I also got to see some more cool architecture after a short ferry ride – The East Asiatic Company and The Catholic Mission of Bangkok:
Then I took another ferry that runs along the Chao Phraya to the Asiatique, a tourist night market.
The Asiatique is beside the Wat Rajsingkorn temple. Here’s a pretty interesting sign from that temple.
On my way home, I spotted this cat below a pedestrian underpass.
