Chatuchak Market
After leaving my bags at my friend’s place, we went to Chatuchak Weekend Market. We took the BTS to the Mo Chit stop, but left via the Kamphaeng Phet MRT station. The market covers a lot of ground, so more than one metro station services it. The BTS and MRT metro systems are two different light rail systems, with different payment systems. You can’t use your reloadable BTS card for the MRT as of the time I visited.

Cabbages and Condoms Restaurant
That night, we had a Thai dinner at Cabbages and Condoms restaurant. The restaurant has a lot of photos and news articles on Thailand’s past safe sex and family planning efforts. There are a lot of kitschy condom related decor.

Asia Hotel
