Majorette and Bburago are not as well known as Hotwheels and Matchbox. Majorette is a French toy company while Bburago is Italian. While Majorette's die-cast cars are made in China (like everything else in the modern world), Bburago proudly claims that their cars are made in Italy (I don't know if this is true or not though). Bburago's cars are slightly larger than the "matchbox"-sized Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and Majorette cars.

Micro Machines are miniature cars. Their bodies are wholly plastic (not plastic with metal parts). The design and paint jobs are very detailed though. They are really cute. I have a photo comparing the size of Micro Machines cars to Hot Wheels in the micro machines page.
